teeth

Kennedy lost her first tooth in June. It was super wiggly but it just wouldn't come out! We went to the dentist for her first cleaning and the dentist just pulled it out no problem! quick and painless. the second bottom one followed soon after that.

first tooth...
second tooth...

the last few months her top teeth have been wiggly and I thought she would lose them before Christmas and she could sing "All I want for Christmas is my two front teeth", but she did not lose them.

A couple weeks ago, she lost one from eating an apple. The tooth fairy brought her a loonie and a quarter. She gave the quarter to Lexi! The other tooth was hanging on by a thread and had shifted over now that there was a space from the lost one. She reminded me of Nanny McPhee! Brian jokingly called her snaggle tooth which she thought was funny. We kept telling her just to pull it out, but she would not!! After a week or so, it started to turn black from lack of blood. We urged her to pull it, and Finally she let us do it. Brian couldn't grasp the slippery tooth at that angle with big fingers, so I did it. One quick pull and it was out. BAH!!!! SCREAMING!!!!! she was so upset, screaming and kept telling us we were wrong! We said it wouldn't hurt and she kept reminding us we were wrong! ok, we did feel bad, but i think it was more the shock and the blood that freaked her out, not so much the pain. I'm sure the tooth fairy felt pity on her- she left Kennedy $5! Now she is one cute toothless girl with a bit of a tricky time saying her "s's".

the next pictures are just funny. They were being silly at breakfast, making funny faces. I sure love these girls!! They make me laugh everyday.

and you know you're tired when….

Aww, these pictures are just so cute. I love the picture of the girls standing in front of the wall-- Kennedy looks very grown up in it, her face looks a bit less round (I don't know if it just happens to in that picture or if she is getting a little more mature looking). But anyway, your girls are super cute!

So crazy cute! I was just trying to wiggle out a top tooth tonight at bedtime. Nothing is cuter than a toothless grin.
