A conversation and scrapbook pages

Kennedy made a funny comment yesterday that Brian laughed at and said it should go on my blog.
The background first: Kennedy got a new bike off Kijij this summer, but we haven't put her training wheels on it yet. We had to buy some, so she's been using her much too little bike. So yesterday, we had playgroup at a park that has a path all the way around it so the kids all brought their bikes to ride. Before we left I told Kennedy I was going to try to put her training wheels on (because I'm super girl-yes I told her that). Well, I got them all put together but I could NOT budge the bolt on the bike to put the wheels on then the bolt. So, we went to Brian's work with all the tools, both bikes (in case he didn't have time to do it and she could use her little bike). Brian takes about 5 mins to get it all switched (he also needed a socket to tighten it back up- which I would have had no idea about, luckily his boss has lots of tools in his garage). ANYWAY....

we are driving away and Kennedy says in amazement and awe, "that was so nice of Daddy to fix my bike!"

WHAT?!?!

I'm like Kennedy, I'm the one who put the training wheels on, and tried so hard to do it, and brought it all to Dad, AND it was all my idea in the first place!!

Kennedy replies, "ya, but Daddy did the most work"

again, WHAT?!?!

I did lots too, you know.

Kennedy: Well, we'll say you both did lots of work so no one has hurt feelings.

Thanks, I replied :)
 what a girl

And, I recently bought the Stampin Up digital scrapbooking program. I'm super behind on scrapbooking, and while I have space to do it now, this is SUPER handy and easy. It can do a ton of stuff and it was pretty cheap too. I'm liking it a lot. It was my (early) birthday present.

This is my first attempt. For some reason, the background is flipping. THose swirls should be on the right side. I have no idea why its doing that. ANyone??

And attempt two last night:

I told Brian that the program is kinda like going into someone else's scrapbook room to play. Theres lots of new things and it just takes so long to look at everything that you don't get much done and its really not your fav in the end because you were just playing with new things. So once I play some more and get to know what I have, I will get quicker, but I really like this "fall" page. cute and simple. thats me. :)

Until later!!
Have a super duper weekend!
Its date night tonight! YAY!!
