happy happy happy

This girl is just so happy. She is halarious lately, so funny to just watch. The way she plays with a toy so long....discovering it at every angle. Brian and I watched her play with a ball for about 10 minutes the other night. She would drop it then chase it and do it again. She would put it on the hearth of the fireplace and then climb up. After just climbing up she would go to sit, not realizing she had just gone up a step. I was sitting quite close so i just caught her bum, but she continued to do this for a while. It's like, I want to sit, so I'm sitting right here. She just loved seeing where that ball would roll. Funny girl. She had her first sleepover at Nana's on Saturday night. It was nice to have a night alone with Brian but also kinda strange. At conference in the morning, we didn't have her yet and it was way strange, especially seeing all the kids. I missed her. Brian wouldn't let me call home before conference, so I snuck out and went to check on her (hehe). She did great- slept all night, played well, and had fun. We enjoyed our long overdue night alone. Thanks so much Mom and Dad, we totally appreciate it! We even get another night next weekend. My mother's day present from Brian was taking me out for a night. We are going away for the night and Kennedy is going to Nana and Papa's again. It is also going to be Brian's Fathers Day present. Isn't that a great gift for Mother's/Father's Day- a night from your kiddos? Hehe. a lady in my ward gave the gift of taking her grandson for a week as a mothers day gift to the boy's mom. She said it wasn't as selfless as it sounds- she gets a week with her grandson! I'm so glad for grandparents! We get a break, and they like it too!
Anyway, so Spring is here, and things are busy. I am getting ready for my sister's wedding. Planning her bridal shower and getting nervous for the day...i have to give a speech for being maid of honor! yikes.
I am doing a triathalon and a 10km road race this summer, so I have been training for that as well. Started my training to teach land aerobics classes (I have taught water aerobics for 2 years). I am excited for that. Kennedy is helping with my training. We bike together (her in the bike trailer) and tomorrow I start running with her. I'm nervous, as I need to still work on running by myself so my runner friend is coming along with me to push Kennedy. Should be good. Got a busy week ahead....I guess that is what Spring does. I love the warm weather!!
Oh, right...the pics up top....the first is just the other day for her 10 month picture, the second is from Mother's Day, and the last ones are when we went to the park with my friend and her baby. She LOVES the swings!
Ok, Later! ;)

She sure is a doll! I can't wait to my a grandma. Hopefully someday the Lord will allow my married kids to have the children they desire.
I am impressed about you teaching aerobics. I have done land aerobics in my basement for over 20 years. I really want to try water ones now, but I just need to find the time to fit it in. It's not like I am stuck at home all day, but for some reason it sure is harder to get to a class somewhere else.
Good luck with the training! Keep us posted on how that goes. Good for you!
