Festival

For the second year in a row, a lady in our ward has offered to lead a primary choir for festival. Last year, the girls did not participate but this year, they both chose to! Lexi really wanted to do it and Kennedy did not (surprising, since she loves school choir), but since she had to wait for Lexi after church to practice, she decided it was more fun than staying in the hallway! They performed at festival and did a great job. Lexi really knew her part that her and 2 other young girls sang and both girls enjoyed being in it!

Also in the same category, was Kennedy's school choir. Mrs. M is an AMAZING music teacher!! SHe is fantastic. all the kids are so engaged and focused on her. They have had many performances this year, some at retirement homes, a high school basketball tournament opening ceremonies banquet and now festival. They will also be performing in May at the High School Graduation.

At the school, they had a special assembly to recognize those who performed in the festival and to play their piece for the school. I was so impressed with these kids for playing piano in front of all their friends! Strangers is one thing, your classmates is another!

So proud of both my girls for developing their talents.
