I tried this soup tonight from pinterest (of course!) and it was DELICIOUS!
super quick and easy to make and yummy too.....now thats a combination I like! The girls each ate two bowls!
Cream Tomato Tortellini Soup
2 cloves garlic, minced
2 Tbsp. olive oil
1 package (9 ounces) refridgerated cheese tortellin (they are even on sale right now for $1.88 at No frills!)
2 cans tomato soup
2 cups chicken broth
1 1/2 cups milk
2 cups half-and-half
1/2 cup oil packed sun-dried tomatoes OR 2 Tbsp sundried tomato paste
**Now, I forgot to buy this, so I left it out* Don't know how it effects the flavor
1 tsp. onion powder
2 tsp Italian seasoning
shake of salt
Parmesan or Mozzarella
Saute garlic in oil until golden. Add soup, broth, milk, half&half, and spices. Bring to a simmer. Drop noodles in and cook until done (about 8 minutes). Serve with parmesan cheese*
I have a thing about buying parmesan cheese. I just hate how much it costs for how little you get. I had mozza in the fridge, so we grated that into our bowls and it was very tasty! I think I'd rather the mozza actually, but I guess I have to try the parm to be a fair judge :)
Next time, I'll serve it with toast points or garlic bread
Enjoy!

This looks SO GOOD! I am going to have to try it.
Looks so good! I had seen this on Pinterest and wasn't sure about the sun dried tomatoes, now that I know it will taste good without them I'm totally making it.
