Last weekend, Brian and I went on a little "stay-vacation".
It began when we dropped this little munchkin off at Nana & Papa's house.

Then we went for lunch at Joeys and had THE BEST chicken souvlaki wrap and house salad to die for.
Then Brian got treated to a massage while I waited for him.
Then we went golfing at the Par 3 @ Kinsmen. I have to highlight this like crazy. We had a bet for the winner and Brian so kindly gave me double par. So whoever got closer to their par was the winner. and ya know what??? I KICKED HIS BUTT!!!!! Oh yah. I am so not a golfer and my hubby is- although he only gets to go about 2-3 times per year.

So, at this hole, it was about 75 yards and I used Brian's massive Nike Sasquash which, if you are not a golfer, that is used for VERY long distances in regular golf-not piddly little holes like this. But hey, I need all the help I could get. Well, you'll notice I'm right on the green and the pin is right behind me in ONE SHOT!!!! I wouldn't gotten 2 on that hole, but as the grass is super patchy it didn't roll smooth to the hole, so I got 3. Brian was so flabbergasted I got to the green in one shot, and his went past the green into the bushes on the left side of that fence behind me.
Later on, after checking in at our hotel, we went for a nice dinner at Olive Garden, one of our favourite restaurants. And did some shopping
The next day we slept in, had breakfast, checked out, shopped a lot (Brian got me a cute cardigan super cheap and he completely picked it out and new work shoes for me too)
We were going to see a movie, but decided it was too nice out so we went mini-golfing. Sadly, Brian beat me by 2 strokes.
Later that night, we went for another nice dinner, this time at the Keg and finished it all off by heading to get Kennedy and see my family at my brother in laws birthday cake get-together.
We had such a wonderful time and it was so nice to get away. Spending lots of alone time with Brian just makes me realize why I love him so much and why I married him. I sure love this guy!!!!
It was a little sad to come back to reality this week. Such is life:)
