cinco de mayo.

one day i will take up spanish lessons again and become fluent. I took it in high school and loved it. I had big plans to travel to Spain and Costa Rica and cool places and just talk with latinos. one day....

anyway, just letting you know, i'm still alive. I really haven't felt like I have anything to blog about. I've been home A LOT, getting bored of it actually. But, Kennedy is sick. All of a sudden she started puking and there was no lead up. She is barely eating, but drinking tons of milk. She is snuggly (which i love) and wants to be held a lot. poor thing. I feel so terrible for her. I hate whining. But my brother was commenting on her whining and I was so defensive. I was like, if you couldn't talk and your tummy hurt, you'd whine too. I guess whining when your sick is ok in my books.

I have done some scrapping lately. A couple friends that I don't see often came over the other day to make cards. My room is crazy packed with stuff! I love it! We got a few cute ones. THey left their stuff here with the intentions to come back before the go back to Texas. Whenver they are in town we go to the Olive Garden. We have been going since high school. It started as a birthday thing, and now we go when we are all in town together. Sometimes there is a year or two in between when two of them travel to Australia or Japan and all over, so its so fun to catch up when they are all back. There are 4 of us, I am the only one married. So, they hang the 3 of them more than the 4 of us for that reason. I can't exactly go to firesides and dances and parties. I don't think Brian or the other people there would appreciate that! haha! So we went to dinner last week and we are going again before they leave. I will post a pic later- cuz i forgot my camera for the first dinner. Whenever we hang out, I realize how much I miss them, and girlfriends in general. I love girl talk. Just chattin and laughing and reminiscing and of couse, eating!

Well, anyway. I didn't think I had anything to blog about, and there I went on a long rampage of blabbing. Hehe. I'll be back soon....i hope!

YOu know, there are sometimes when I wish I could whine and complain and just act as miserable as I feel. I think it is a privledge saved for children.

Amen to Kaylani's comment! I was just going to say something like that. : D

Speaking of Spanish....three of my kids have taken it through high school now and I am SO jealous when I hear them talk to each other in Spanish. I wish I knew another language. I grew up in a small town and a language class was not an option class. So sadly, I only know English!
