So the other day, I was home alone. I know...not a big deal. But I am never home alone. Kennedy was playing at my mom's house, Brian was in Brooks for a Basketball tournament, and my brother who lives downstairs was at out. It was a new thing for me. I guess it's kind of strange, or maybe it's because it doesn't happen that often, but I really like being home alone. Whether I'm cleaning, watching tv or on the computer I like being home alone once in a while. I can blare my music all I want and dance all over the kitchen. Now you know my secrets. hehe.
So anyway, last friday, I was home alone and I had to go out soon but I had a bit of time. I set the timer for 24 minutes, blared my music and went to my scrapbook room to see what I could accomplish in that time frame. I wanted to complete a page in that space of time. Well, there I was, loving every minute when someone comes to the door. Jeesh. It was a friend, so they popped in so I couldn't even avoid the doorbell and pretend I wasn't home. I don't really do that, that would be mean....right.....anyway...
THis girl wanted to chat! She wouldn't leave. I was forced to turn off the music and talk. It wasn't a situation where she needed someone to talk to or anything, she was just chatty. I was quite upset that my 24 minutes was widdling away. This rarety does not come around often and she was taking it away from me!
After she left to take the dogs for a walk, I ran back my room with the music up and finished. I did have to set the timer for another 8 minutes, then rush to get ready to go out, but I finished my page and I like it. I would have enjoyed it a bit better to not have been so rushed, but hey, maybe the adrenaline made the better page. hehe.

It's a bit cut off, so you'll have to use your imagination. That is all for now. I am addicted to One Tree Hill. I'm halfway through the first season and I have been doing laundry this week so I watch it while I'm folding laundry. Kennedy is sleeping so I think I will grab an apple and water and go watch an episode. I just can't get enough. Thanks a lot, Devonee!

WoW! 8 minutes huh? That is awesome. Love the colors you chose. Maybe next time just turn your music up a little louder...... : D. Then when someone says to me (er, you) later, that they dropped by unannounced (who does that), and that you didnt' answer the door.... just smile and say "Gee, I must not have heard the door bell over my music. " Sorry. LOL!
Somedays we just like to have that 24 minutes to get things done, eh?
I will have to check out this show called One Tree Hill. You make it sound good.
