V-Day Love

Well, this was a special Valentine's Day for us. Brian came home from work with this huge bouquet of flowers and said to get dressed up fancy, he was taking me out. He told me to wear my black dress and my nice shoes. I went to put on nylons, and he goes...no nylons. Is he crazy?! its winter out there! well, we got all ready and then he surprised me with an anklet! (thats what the picture is trying to show). It's a little heart. He took me mini-golfing and I won. The winner always gets something...i won a massage! yes! He was totally kicking my butt, then he fell apart and i stepped up. I almost never ever beat him at mini golf.
One summer, we working a commision door to door job with his brother. We got so so good at minigolf that summer, cause we would always skip out and go to the WHitemud Amusement Park or to West Ed to play. We made new competitions out of it, like you have to hit that rock, that side of the wall twice and then put it in.....we were still getting two-four strokes most of the time. those were the good ol' days.
anyway, i beat Brian, then he took me out to dinner to the Sawmill. good times. I had rented a movie and bought lots of treats and a delissio pizza, i guess that will be tonight's agenda. This was just an extra special treat, cause usually we don't do anything on V-Day. Im serious. Last year, i worked late and then we went to BP's for some food. nothing special at all. I thought this year would be the same. I am not the biggest fan of V-day, not sure why. Its just a made up holiday to me, but boy, it was awesome. I think now, it will mean lots more to me. hee hee. I hope everyone had a great night, with or without someone. WHen i was single, V-day meant hanging out with the girls, making cookies, and watching chick flicks, and talking. those were great times as well. Life sure changes (for the good!! )
oh, some more news, my Grandpa is getting married! wow! congrats! can't wait to meet this girl. Guess i'll be at the temple with a huge big belly, as it is probably going to be in June!
Check it out! did some new pages.
Happy Thursday (this week is flying!)

Wow--that is sweet! I *love* the anklet! Yep...Valentine's Day is about as fun as you --and your spouse--makes it. Lots of good treats=good day. :)
