hello!

Wow. It sure has been a while. I have been a terrible blogger. I'm going to try to update this much more frequently! So, so much has happened. We just got back from Cuba. Brian and I went and man, was it a blast. So fun. Great weather (for the most part). We missed the snow storm here, so that was nice. We went snorkeling and swimming with the dolphins. What great things we saw snorkeling. And they took us to a private island on our catamaran. That was really pretty. We could walk out so far and there were no waves because we were in a cove. We saw lots of starfish and sand dollars and neat looking shells. It was great to get away. I needed it.

THe dolphin pictures aren't working. But, we got to stand on their noses. And they swam around with us on them! that was so neat.

Most everyone knows this, I'm guessing. But, I'm pregnant. Wow. there is going to be a little child of our own in July! I am going to be a mom for the first time. I can't even believe that. wow, it just seems amazing to me. I am so excited. We heard the heart beat for the first time just the other day. I am around 14 weeks. Its so weird that there is another heart beat inside me besides my own, and I'm not even showing. that is weird. I am so excited to have a belly, but also want to stay in my clothes as long as possible. Our lives are going to drastically change all for the better. I am so excited. I can't wait, I just want it now. I can't wait another 6 months!!! That is so far away. Did you all hear Heidi Swapp is prego too? she already had her ultrasound, so that is neat, maybe I can get mine soon! Brian really wants to know what it is. I don't mind either way. I'd actually rather not know, but I can't have Brian knowing and not me!!

Brian quit school, and has become a welder. What another change! He totally loves it. He's working in Wetaskiwin with a friend who has his own company. Its my best friend's husband. She is also pregnant. Due in April, and we will be moving to Wetaskiwin when I'm done work and our lease is up the end of June. It will be so much fun to raise our babies together. Not so fun to move and 8 1/2 months pregnant, but what can you do? its better than going now and driving in everyday for work.

I want to start working on a baby book now so its easier to do later on, just fill in pictures, but its too hard to even try to do a baby page when I never have before. I can't think creatively. I scrapbooked tonight, its been so long. It was hard. It took me a long time to come up with it. I think I am happy with it.

Today, Brian and I had the ultimate lazy day. We stayed home all day! I got up around 7, because ever since I got pregnant, I can't sleep in. I watched the Fugitive on tv. Then Brian woke up around 10:30 or 11. We laid there for a while then had some lunch and watched tv. Then we took a nap at noon! AND SLEPT FOR 2 HOURS!!! that felt so good. We have been so tired. I don't think we caught up from Cuba, getting home at 5 in the morning Cuba time after a long flight and driving home from Calgary. Oh well, we have just lazed around all day. Brian made dinner....wow The Keg style. Stuffed Potatoes and steak. yum so good. I love it when he cooks. He can cook really well. I'm so lucky!
